Structural Changes? 12 weeks and 5 days

Monday, Krystina took me to her storage unit and pulled out her maternity clothes. It was wonderful waking up the next morning with real options on what I could wear. I COULD wear regular clothes, but my shirts are so tight that I stay uncomfortable. She had some really cute tops that fit now, and will allow me to grow into them. So, between Krystina and Annie, I've already got a pretty good wardrobe going on.

I'm going through the whole headaches/nasal congestion thing, which is annoying. I was sitting here doing fine a little while ago, when all of a sudden my nose sprang a leak and won't stop running. Ridiculous.

A lady at church tonight said a funny thing. She said that she could tell that I had some "structural changes" happening. I laughed and said that was a strange way to put it, but yes, she was correct.

I guess I'm starting to accept the fact that I'm getting a belly. I'm trying to eat better and Dan and Krystina take turns walking with me, so I should be able to keep my metabolism up, and maybe that will help keep off unnecessary pounds? Maybe.

Dan and Darci -
Thank you for this blog. It is such a blessing to be part of your pregnancy, even if we are so far apart. I am praying for you and keeping you close to my heart. See you soon.
