Everything went well at my post-op checkup as well. No more steri-strips and sponge baths. Woohoo! I was worried that I had a little infection at the incision but the doctor said it was nothing to worry about and we can slowly return to "normal" life.
While we were in Kingwood for my checkup we also went by Reunion and were able to put Jami's feet on the wall. Although we weren't able to give birth at the birth center, she's still a "reunion baby" and we'll have our 6 week checkup with Janet and Polly.

We are FINALLY getting the hang of nursing and we're both sleeping better because of it. I keep thinking that God has a sense of humor because the baby is born knowing how to "eat" but I have to learn how to feed her...how ironic... There is NO WAY that we could have done it without Karen and Ashley. Thank you, thank you!! (By the way, if you ever want to breast feed...THROW AWAY ALL of the FORMULA!! Do not allow yourself to be tempted. :)
Dad and Mamaw just came in from West Texas and we're trying to get Jami to calm down, I think her tummy is hurting. (Sorry, I had El Taquito yesterday.)
Here are some pictures to satisfy your Jami fix. :) Love you all!
